Mountain Laurel Center's Upcoming Events:

Montgomery Gentry
Saturday, July 16, 8pm
"Jam-packed with serpentine electric guitars, thundering drum beats, and from-the-gut vocals. Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry play the hard-living, God-fearing, boot-stomping, good-ol'-boy role to a tee."- Country Review
"Just as rock music once threatened the very existence of country music, Montgomery Gentry's self-described 'pure whup-ass' music now threatens to shake country listeners from the lethargy induced by the soporific radio-friendly tunes cranked out in Nashville. Heck, some of us might even be moved to punch up the local country music station and give it another shot."- MountainWestMusic.com
Country duo Montgomery Gentry is an integral part of a generation of Southern rockers and icons such as Charlie Daniels, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Marshall Tucker Band. Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry were part of the groundbreaking CMT Outlaws special, and hit #1 on the country charts with "If You Ever Stop Loving Me" and the CD it came from, You Do Your Thing, which quickly went gold. They are singers at the peak of their form, making music as raw and powerful as it is compelling.
